The Brazilian World Cyber Games qualifier has reached the playoffs as the group stage concluded after two days worth of matches.
Ten teams had made their way into the group stage, which started Friday in São Paulo. The group stage was played over the course of two days, with the remaining matches being played today. The first real upset came in the first match today, with GamerHouse unexpectedly defeating mandic 16-13 on de_nuke. This in the end meant that mandic advance in second place, while GamerHouse went undefeated through to the playoffs.
In the other group, GameCrashers cruised through in top spot, losing just eleven rounds in four matches. The team to follow GC through to the playoffs turned out to be GH.Extreme.
